The Problem

Most mood apps reduce a day to an emoji and a streak. There’s little reason to come back except guilt. Innerverse asks whether reflection can feel like exploring a personal universe instead of filling a form.

What I Built

Innerverse is a solo founder product under Jafrix Systems: React Native + Expo with a Skia cosmos — each logged mood becomes a star in a pinch/pan galaxy that grows over time.

  • Celestial mood logging (intensity, tags, notes) and trends/streaks.
  • Mira, an AI companion grounded in the user’s own mood history (not generic wellness copy).
  • Meditation library, Mindscape builder, export (JSON/CSV), offline indicators, and reminder push.
  • RevenueCat for premium themes / subscriptions.

Major Features

  • Cosmos journal — moods as stars in a Skia galaxy, not a spreadsheet.
  • Mira AI — conversational insights tied to real logged entries.
  • Trends & rituals — analytics, streaks, meditation, Mindscape.
  • Premium path — RevenueCat subscriptions and themes.
  • Solo ship — design, engineering, and store submission end to end.

Key Challenges

Skia gave the visual freedom the metaphor needed, but a growing animated point cloud on lower-end Android required disciplined redraws. Keeping Mira grounded in the user’s data — not generic advice — meant prompt construction always carried real mood history as context.

Results

Innerverse is live on Play Store and web, built and published solo — product, engineering, and store listing.

Stack Decisions

Expo kept solo iteration fast; Skia was required for a custom cosmos no chart library could fake. Firebase minimized backend work so time stayed on the experience; RevenueCat handles store billing without hand-rolled receipts.
